Description: Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, experience with Microsoft Server 2008 is a plus.

Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking

Knowledge of maintaining NAS storage

Knowledge of using backup and recovery software such as Ghost and Livestate Recovery

Knowledge of Active Directory

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook/Exchange

Familiarity with scripting language and command-line syntax
