In addition to RIOS Mobile Command Package, SyTech offers a suite of support components designed to deliver the most advanced mobile command system available. These components complement the RIOS Mobile Command Package and are highly recommended.
RIOS Mobile Command Workstations
Perhaps the most versatile of all RIOS installations, RIOS Command Vehicles, equipped with RIOS Workstations and Multi-User Access, provide cross-functional incident management with the highest level of interoperable communications. RIOS Mobile Command Workstations with Multi-User Access allow for multiple monitoring and dispatching from multiple positions within the command vehicle. Optional, but recommended, SyTech CCU2 Audio Control Packages replicate the dispatch environment with stereo speakers, foot pedal and PJ-7 microphone input.
SyTech CCU2 Audio Control Package
The CCU2 Audio Control Package emulates dispatch functionality by providing a centralized command hub for audio connections. The CCU2 package includes external speakers, footswitch, cabling and the control unit with PJ-7 input for dispatcher headsets. Customers can choose between PTT microphone or dispatcher headset with controller. The unit allows for simultaneous, dual audio paths for external speakers and microphone headset. Dual audio paths are controlled by the user with individual audio control for left and right-side outputs.
Shielded Speaker Module
The RIOS 2U Speaker Module provides shielded speaker output via standard-computer stereo output from the RIOS Server. The Module provides individual speaker output for the left and right speaker as well as headset input with left and right ear control and dual audio (speaker and headset) output. The Speaker Module is highly recommended for Command Vehicle and other rackmount applications.
Walk-Up Radio Interface Panel
The SyTech Walk-Up Panel allows the system owner to easily connect up to eight ad hoc radios (sometimes called “walk-up radios”) to the RIOS ICS. The Panel occupies one rack unit (1U) with custom cabling cut to the specification of the required system. SyTech recommends the Walk-Up Panel to be located within less than 6 feet of the RIOS I/O Chassis and Server.
For RIOS systems that do not offer rear access to the system, the RIOS Walk-Up panel is highly recommended.
