The RIOS Workstations provide networked control of the RIOS Gateway via an IP network connection and the RIOS Client Software Application. All types of RIOS Client Workstations have the ability to view real-time events such as transmissions, receptions, and the making and breaking of cluster groups with the RIOS GUI. Workstations can be permissioned to provide individual rights and privileges. Where authorized, RIOS Workstations provide the ability to transmit, receive, patch, page, record, view and control both local and remote communication resources.
RIOS Client Workstations PCs
RIOS Client Workstation PCs include a Windows XP or Windows 7 PC, flat-screen monitor, keyboard and mouse in addition to configuration and licensing for one additional RIOS Computer Connection Port. Because hardware improvements are constantly occurring, SyTech will provide to the customer computer specifics at the time of purchase. SyTech prefers a compact PC to reduce required space as well as a PC with a serial port for footpedal control .

SyTech CCU2 Audio Control Package
The CCU2 Audio Control Package emulates dispatch functionality by providing a centralized command hub for audio connections. The CCU2 package includes external speakers, footswitch, cabling and the control unit with PJ-7 input for dispatcher headsets.

Customers can choose between a PTT microphone or dispatcher headset with controller. The unit allows for simultaneous output for external speakers and microphone headset with automatic gain control. Dual audio paths are controlled by the user with individual audio control for left and right-side output.
RIOS Durabook Notebook PCs
RIOS Durabook Notebooks offer a durable, simplified and portable means to access the RIOS ICS. Durabook Notebooks are a great solution for Tactical, Mobile Command and Fixed-Site systems as the notebook reduces cabling and desk space requirements. RIOS VPN Clients
RIOS VPN Clients provide remote accessibility of the RIOS ICS from any authorized PC running the RIOS Client Software Application and able to connect with a VPN. RIOS VPN Clients allow for the same system functionality of a RIOS Workstation while providing the freedom to be on any network and still connect via a secure connection. The RIOS VPN Clients require an open Computer Port on the RIOS ICS and a RIOS configured router for network entry.
Computer Connection Ports
Workstations logging into the networked RIOS are assigned Computer Connection Ports represented by computer icons found within the Virtual Assets row of the RIOS GUI. For system owners that want to access RIOS from their existing computers, SyTech offers additional RIOS Computer Connections Ports and licensed RIOS Client Software.
