SOFTWARE

RADIUS Client: Control Software for the RADIUS ROIP Gateway

The RADIUS Client for Windows combines radios, computer, smartphone, and other devices into an easy-to-use GUI designed for mission critical communications.

The RADIUS Client makes it easy for administrators to create channels and assign permissions to operators who can quickly learn and repeat critical communication functions.

The RADIUS Client builds upon the SyTech RIOS graphical user interface to include popular features such as RIOS Cluster Groups for crossbanding radios. In the image below, a RIOS Cluster Group is created among radios, computers, smartphones and crewstations, delivering interoperability among all connected devices.

The RADIUS Graphical User Interface

The goal the RADIUS Graphical User Interface is to present the controls and resources required for real-world mission critical communications. The RADIUS GUI combines administrative functions such as creating users, configuring radio resources, creating channels, assigning user profiles, and operator functions such as monitoring channels, transmitting to resources and creating patches within a single application. The administrator can grant or deny access to functions and resources based on organizational requirements.

Simplified Group Communications

This image shows the Channels and Dashboard Modules within RADIUS Graphical User Interface. In this simplified configuration, the operator is able to PTT to the channel, enable select/unselect audio, panning audio left and right, and view members within a channel. The operator only sees the channels that are assigned to the operator’s user profile.

  • PTT simplificado por canal

  • Selecionar/desmarcar controle de áudio

  • Áudio misto para streaming de áudio simultâneo

  • Panorâmica de áudio esquerda/direita

  • Fechamento de relé compatível com botão PTT

  • Atribuir canais específicos apenas a usuários específicos

Advanced Crossbanding

This image shows the Command Screen of the RADIUS Graphical User Interface. In this scenario, there are two patches currently in operation. The operator is able to PTT to the patches, create new channels by dragging and dropping radio assets into the channel, and other advanced crossbanding capabilities.

  • Create Crossbanded Cluster Groups

  • Create Channels by Dragging & Dropping Assets into the Channels

  • PTT Directly to Groups & Channels

  • Move & Organize Cluster Groups

  • Save & Load Pre-configured Groups & Channels

  • Enable, Disable, Rename Groups & Channels

VoIP Device Compatibility

This image shows the configuration of a VoIP Device within the RADIUS Device Editor. The VoIP device is configured for multicast audio. The virtual radio appears as a 117G radio within the Command interface. The operator has patched the virtual radio with a physical radio for two-way radio communications.

  • Multicast Audio Capable

  • Unicast Audio Capable

  • Bridge among WAVE, Vocality & RIOS Interfaces

  • Configurable Time To Live (TTL)

  • One-time Licensing Fee without Re-occurring Costs

Remote Radio Control

This image shows the operator control device configuration of the VoIP device with multicast connected to a physical radio within a patch.

  • Remotely Steer Motorola O5 Control Head Radios for APX & XTL Mobile Radios

  • Able to Remotely Steer Zone, Channel, Reset, & Ergo Buttons

  • RADIUS Control Function Allows the Operator to Access Virtual Controls within the RADIUS Client

  • Use Motorola Accessory Interface with SyTech RCU Cable CAB-00209B

  • Remotely control Harris 117G and 160 radios with onscreen Radius KDU.
